Kinetic.

Terms of Use

Effective July 27, 2026

Kinetic is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). This page summarizes the key points in plain language. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

License

Kinetic is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Apple devices that you own or control, under the usage rules set out in the App Store Terms of Service. The license is granted by Karel Busta, the developer of Kinetic ("we", "us").

Subscriptions and purchases

Kinetic offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never see or store your payment details. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information so Kinetic can associate membership access with your Kinetic account across devices.

Your data

Your training data is stored locally on your devices for offline use and synchronized through Kinetic's Convex backend while you are signed in. See our Privacy Policy for details. You remain responsible for keeping access to your devices and account and for any exports you create.

Your account

Kinetic requires an account. You are responsible for maintaining access to the Apple or Google identity you use to sign in. Signing out removes the session from the device but retains that account's local training data and pending changes. Use Delete Account in Kinetic to start deletion from Kinetic's backend, WorkOS, and connected installations. A device that remains offline cannot be erased until it reconnects.

Connected agents

You may authorize compatible third-party agents, including ChatGPT or Codex, to access Kinetic on your behalf. An authorized agent may read, create, update, or delete training records according to your request, its available Kinetic tools, and the permissions you configure with that provider. Review proposed destructive actions carefully. You are responsible for instructions issued through your connected account and can revoke access by disconnecting Kinetic from the provider.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app except as permitted by law or by the license terms. Kinetic is a training log, not a medical device — it provides no medical advice, and you exercise at your own risk.

Warranty and liability

Kinetic is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability as set out in the Standard EULA. Nothing in these terms affects consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
